Part of Bethlehem Mayor Maher Nicola Canawati’s visit to the Women’s Union Association in the city, where he was received by the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Diana Elias, her deputy, Mrs. Dina Nassar, the Treasurer, Mrs. Majida Abu Rudeina, the Secretary, Mrs. Lamis Al-Moati, and a number of the Union’s members.

The visit included a comprehensive overview of the Women’s Union’s mission, the social and humanitarian services it provides, and its most prominent charitable activities. During the meeting, the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Bethlehem Municipality and the Women’s Union was emphasized, contributing to the continuity of the association’s work. It was also suggested opening channels of communication with institutions in the twin cities, with the aim of sharing the Union’s experience and promoting the Palestinian heritage, particularly in the fields of embroidery and traditional cuisine.
