The guest, Dr. Vicky Lumontot, visited Bethlehem today, 6/12/2013, accompanied by his family and a delegation of 40 people at the invitation of Mr. Maher Kanawati. After touring the Three Arches Company and getting to know the investments of the Qanawati family and eating food, they toured Bethlehem and visited the Church of the Nativity and Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque, where the host gave them a brief History of Bethlehem and the coexistence in this city, and then the delegation went to the Bethlehem municipality, where the mayor of the municipality welcomed them. The mayor welcomed the guest and his accompanying delegation and provided an explanation about Bethlehem and the Israeli obstacles to developing this city. After that, the guest responded to the mayor, declaring his admiration for this city, in response to Mr. Maher’s request to study the twinning between the two municipalities and to open investment opportunities for this city. Mr. Maher and the mayor also invited to visit their Indonesian city, Manado.
