The olive wood from which our wood cutting board is made grows very slowly, resulting in an incomparably firm and dense structure. This makes it ideal for use in the kitchen, as it is particularly cut-resistant and does not accept colors, moisture or odors. The olive tree wood we use has been air-dried gently for years, so that the cutting board is preserved for a lifetime if properly cared for. Due to the characterful grain of the wood, each piece is unique. It can be used in many ways as a trivet, as an insensitive wooden board for cutting and chopping or for serving cheese or small snacks. Warm water and a little washing-up liquid are sufficient for easy cleaning. Occasionally you should rub it with olive oil. The high-quality material is not a mass product and can also remain on your table while eating. You can see and feel the loving handwork.
